If you guessed that they're all trade shows or other book festivals where you can showcase your new releases, you're right. But what if your new release isn't ready yet?

Timing is key in publishing, whether you're planning a book release around a bigger news or product release, a life cycle event, or doing not so much planning at all. How you time your releases can affect when you're eligible to showcase titles in trade shows and enter them into awards. And depending on your market, the timing of your books may be different from another publisher's.
